rust in roof


picking up 59 split rust running along rain drains in roof some holes right through & bad , used to attach tarp off side of van .is it possible to mig up & be undetectible any ideas please

I would say that putting sun windows in would be more trouble and much more expensive (considering that the rust may not line up exactly where you want the windows and you would then have to weld up some holes anyway!!) than just welding up some holes, course that depends on how bad the rust is.

Perhaps post a pic and someone can tell you if it would be an easy job. If you search the site a bit you will find posts where people have done welding jobs and been very successful.
