zul.Gesamtgewicht kg 1110 Baujahr 1954

loaded total-weight 1110kg. I presume that this means that car+cargo shouldn't weigh more than 1110kg.

zul.Achslast vorn kg 450 Zul.Achslast hinten kg 660

Those are just the front and rear axle loading capacities. vorn = front, hinten = rear.

The first line says you've got a beetle doesn't it?

I might be wrong about this stuff. Well, not the vorn/hinten, that's real easy. But the beetle bit.:)

Hey Aggri1,
Thanks. Yep it's a oval beetle. I bought it back in 2000.It's been sanded and has surface rust on it.I'm trying to find out the original colour.I need to start restoring it as it's sitting outside with a cover over it.There's no paint on it at all.

best to buzz the surface rust back, and start prepping:) get some etch, and some primer on there.. colour is the very last stage of a re-spray:)
