How many projects do people have????

The more i talk to people the more i realise that the majority of us have more than just one volkswagen.
I thought once i got my splitty on the road ,that would be it & i'd be happy with just the one but i now find myself not just admiring other sorts of veedubs but thinking its likely that i'll own some other sort as well now.
So just wondering what people have & if they started like me just planning on having one!!!:thumb

Rhys, why hoard so many? Don't get me wrong I'm not having a go at ya, but just curious what are your plans for all those veedubs? :kiss

Anyway, I have 3. One major project not too far from completion. One half restored beetle which will be done next and sold to fund the remaining long term splitty project.

They are addictive little buggers (no pun intended)

I've also got the "bug", although ironically no beetles - all splitties....
I have a 67 11 window I've just got rego-ed today, next project a 64 single-cab to restore and sell, then a 62 double-cab then maybe the 23....I call it a hobby so it sounds inexpensive...:duh

I've got tons of room, but not much dosh. Any donations appreciated!

1 Bay Kombi, and a Type 3 Square in the next couple of months or so.

No ambitions for a bug as yet. Maybe a Baja at some stage for some fun?

I currently have a 69 ghia, always ongoing, vw based bush basher(finnishing the frame), 67 custom beetle (just started) and I'm now looking for a 60's convertable.

My wife cries every time I mention V and W in the same sentance.lol.

The daily driver '75 kombi is an ongoing project, I have a '66 International 4x4 panel van in the shed, a 1500S Notch waiting to get in the shed, and a P76 is next in line....

Edit: Ok, so the P76 jumped the queue, but it's still not finished yet. Unfortunately, somehow I managed to buy three.. the third one will be scrap soon, but I'm considering salvaging the 2nd. :alien

I have a 72 Super nearing completion and am trying to talk the wife into a Eurolook early bay window. "Gee honey wouldn't it be good to go grocery shopping in". Truthfully my surfboards would look better than groceries in it!

The 'family second car' is a 69 bug, it is generally happy but will need some work in the next couple of years. If daughter #1 gets her learners next year she will be buying it from us as her first car.

By the time she has paid for it and has her P licence, we hope to have our '60 bug on the road....it will eventually be owned by daughter #2 in a few years, but is project form currently. It's in storage on the other side of town, very grubby, but (we believe) just needs an engine and a cleanup to have it ready....

My missus wants a Manx.....so maybe I need another bug to start that project.....

yeah, I have too many projects too....

A '65 Baja (with EFI motor - if I can ever work out what is wrong with the fuel supply :bounce )

A '73 Twin Cab - modified - not saying too much just yet - its likely to change tomorrow!

A '63 Bug - resto - after everything else is done, this one is currently registered and running fine, so I'm in no hurry.

and a few others in the pipeline, but what I would really like is a.....

(I'd better not finish this sentence - if my wife sees it it will be all over!)

57 panel.
57 kombi
57 single cab
61 PMG single cab
and I drive a 75 bay camper which at the moment I spend more time working on it than the splitty's due to some neglect on my part.

I'm working on the 57 panel and the 61 single cab but I'm starting to think I should concentrate on one at a time but I can't decide which.
