oil around top of barrel.

on sunday while i was down under the car i noticed that i have a oil leak between the cyclinder head and the barrel. I normally give the engine a degrease every 2 weeks to make cams ppl happy at races, so there is normally very little oil ont eh engine. It occured on teh right rear cyclinder, what could cause this?

I have no sympathy for my car, only the wallet that pays for it!

Loose head nuts, pulled stud, or poorly machined heads.

pick one of the above ^ !

mmm that all just sounds expensive. But yes seagull, that could be the cause:thumb. I will have a good look and see what i can find. The engine only hs about 30k on it and was rebuilt early 01. so its only just iver 3yrs old. Mabye its time for a strip and rebuild :(
