I just looked up one of Mick Motors adds and found out what selecta drop is Damien....
they are called many things....
Your front suspension assembly has to be dismantled , then the fixed [selecta drop] piece taken out [cut out ] and the new selecta drop part is welded
into place...
Two are used - for the upper & lower torsion arms...
so instead of Your front suspension and ride height being normal...
You can then adjust the height of the front of Your Beetle with these selecta drops... most people use them to drop the front 2 or 3 or 4 inches...
25mm 50 or 75mms..
I have them installed in My Beetle.. the front is about 50mm lower than normal...
I hope You can understand this OK.. if NOT just ask...
its easy when You know how....
