Whats the difference bwteen these and type 1 ball joint? Why can't I use one in my baja exactly?

they mount differently unless you want to make new mount points
i take it yr using a Beetle chassis ??

yep. new mount points dont scare me, more concerned with arm lengths, width of beam and steering box locations...

mate i have had a look at this and looks like a bitch the new front end would be such a pain and not as far out and may be a little wider
