The cheapest and easiest way is to install larger pistons and barrels. You will also need to have the heads machined to accept the larger barrels.
To take full advantage of the increased capacity most people would also want to use heads with larger valves and bigger carbs.
To get exact prices check out some of the parts suppliers like aircooled.net or california import parts. Or try one of the forum sponsors. 1835cc is
a pretty standard sort of upgrade, so many places will sell a kit including all the parts to upgrade.
Ain't nothin' like the wind in your hair.

Anything larger than standard requires machining to the case and heads unless the cylinder walls are thinner than standard. 92mm cylinders have a bad
reputation because they have the same OD as 90.5 but less thickness. I'm guessing you might get flamed for using 92mm The engine will need to be completely disassembled to get this work done,
and that is if the case is suitable. Maybe 90.5 cylinders are better - especially for a bus.
A counterweighted crank is a good idea, along with rebuilt rods plus bearings to match. You'd probably want to plumb in a remote filter if you
already dont have one. Also a new oil pump ? New lifters to match the new cam. You will need larger carbs, cam and exhaust at least as well...
In short you will probably need to rebuild the engine to do it.
