What a VW engine weigh?

General question for say a 1916. Don't need exact number just an average. Buying some castor wheels for an engine stand and want the right ones.

I had a 1200 40HP that was a little over 90kg... oil still in it, w/ carb and stock exhaust, no tinware but had fan shroud.

Interesting, The fellow over here building a hill climber with the Stan Pobjoy motor, his motor wieghed in at 82 Kg without ancillaries.

I'd guess a 1916 to come in closer to 100Kg.

Interestingly enough, one of Jake Rabys T4 engines wieghs in at 105Kg complete. http://www.massivetype4.com/tech/main.shtml

Cheers
Jeremy
