kombi igniton barrel stuck!!!!?????

hey guys im trying to replace my ignition lock(barrel) and it doesnt want to come out!, is there a way of doing this?
it is a 74 bay kombi and it is starting to get on my nerves:cussing
ive attached a pic so u can see what im talking about........
