3rd fuel line on Subaru motor
Hi
Does anyone know what the 3rd fuel line on the WRX motor is for? Do I tee it or block it?

Hi
No it has 3 lines grouped together, I would assume 2 are inlet and return, not sure what the other ones for.

i'm not 100% but it may be the return from the charcoal canister to the tank. |

you need a password to access that forum
PS - my guess is carbon cannister. My V6 had it's mounted near the engine.

Yeah the canister, that line runs to the fuel tank vent.

yeah. I ran two new 8mm lines for the fuel feed and return. Then used the stock VW small fuel line for the fuel tank vent.

yeah, you have to run whatever emmission gear the motor came with. In my case a carbon cannister and a cat. The carbon cannister is so small anyway.
Mine's smaller than a coke can.

would this be the same on other earlier engines? i have 3 similar lines from my engine (ea81). one isnt hooked up and at the moment the engine will
only run for about 10sec before it dies of lack of fuel, would the 3rd line to the cannister solve this?
