oil pressure question


I will be starting a new 1600 cc motor all new parts , what is the max of the oil pressure of a Vw motor its a 1300 cc case .

Someone will tell me I'm wrong but I think its about only 7psi at idle and 28psi to 30psi @ about 2500rpm ..

that is if your running a stock pump (1300)

at least this is a reply..........:P

Seagull, you should see ~6bar max for a stock setup (oil pump, std oil and stock relief) from memory.
