73 beetle seats, will they slot straight into a 1970 1500 beetle


just as the topic asks, do they fit. i dont know if they are from a super, there on ebay atm.

depends on the track a 70 1500 has the early style rails and if they are from a sbug they wont fit due to the sbug having the later style

cheers barls, prob would have been nice if it stated in the ad, they have headrests which is one piece with the back rest

id be fairly sure that they would be Lbug seats if they are hi backs. but on the odd chance they could fit. if not here is how to change them over to decent seats

No the seat tracks are a different type or style

you could fit the early base to the later back rest if you want to go to the trouble or even undo the lower frames n swap them over, which is proberly easier
