wheel sizes and offsets for an early type 3

i want some bigger, more modern wheels on my '67 square. it's got late disk front end, and rear converted to disks, all 4x130 pcd.
i've pretty much convinced myself that i don't like any wheels that i've seen with a 4x130 stud pattern......

so, with the big wide world of aftermarket alloy wheels to go looking at, i'm still no closer to deciding what i want.

but in the mean time, i need info on what size's are possible to squeeze under my gaurds...... and a questimate of what offset i should look for would help too ;)

if anyone has any good pics or info on squeezing more rubber under a type 3's arches post links here:
or here:
or maybe here:

hhmmmm.... :duh

thanks.
