STEERING ISSUE
there is a creaking sound coming from my steering wheel in my 75 kombi whenever i am turning the wheel. sounds like it's coming from underneath.
anybody had this?

Had a creaking noise ('76 kombi), I found that the cover plate where the steering column goes through the floor was missing both of the bolts. The
column was contacting the side of the hole at some angles of rotation. Seemed to fix the problem anyway.

also check your tie rod ends.. mine was creaking and found the boot was cracked and all the grease was gone...
