Which one is the inlet?
Just want to confirm that I've reconnected the hoses to the fuel pump the right way. Is the inlet connected to the black or white hose?

on my 71....the fuel pumps a little different to that.....bbbuuuutttt.....the hose coming from the tank...goes into the lower barb and the outlet is
the top...so aslong as that black hose is coming from the fuel tank...ur set

It is coming from the tank, just wanted to check. It's been a while since I pulled it apart. Thanks Jonno.

you need to check more
Theycan be different
eg - an alt and a gen fuel pump are different in connection.
Got caught once.
You will soon find out.
Have a look and see if there are any arrows
