wot if they already have proof of previous rego? is this incl also, or can they still be rego'd?
you owuld hate for your car to miss a rego and then have em say, NO!.

From what I have heard from a guy who is a consultant for the Australia wide changes it will be a stop on kit cars registered as modified
production.
They want to push them towards being ICVs.

No
I think pre-existing rego will only help if you also have the original Engineering Reports and all the chassis no's etc line up..
Not sure about the QLD plated ones, but I am guessing that paperwork would still be needed.

Check out this site, its all about ICVs and rebodied vehicles in Australia.

Got a quote for a rolling floorpan ($6800 or so), and an extra $450 got me an extra type 4 engine with porsche style cooling kit, exhaust and
extractors. (Thats bloody cheap! However, I am yet to recieve a reply confirming this incredible quote i got last week)
