baja bus wheel questions?

Hey everyone, i am building a baja bus that will have a suspention lift of only about 3.5inches and want to know what style of wheel would be best to use. I am not going to use huge tyres. What sort of offset should the wheels have keeping in mind that my rear wheel arches are uncut? I have found a set of audi mags which are 7x15 with an offset of 45 would they fit all right? Would these wheels tuck my bigger than standard tyres in far enough to clear my rear arches?
Thanks heaps,
Alex.
