input shaft sleeve

Will this get in the way of fitting a 40hp 1200 engine? I've had a 1500 gearbox installed...

cheers

You will just have to take the ring off the pressure plate, that is the later style clutch throw out, the other problem you might have is the 6 volt starter won't bolt up to that gearbox with out an adapter bush.

The ring? Is that the part that the throw out bearing presses up against?

forgive my ignorance, but if you take off the ring that the throw out bearing pushes up agianst, how will the clutch work? what will the throw out bearing push up against when you push in the clutch pedal?

if you have a 3 fingered pressure plate then it wont,.... if you have a diaphragm style pressure plate then it will be OK.
