what part have you bought for your car that turns you on - ie something you will keep forever
of course it cant be one thing can it.................it is hard to pinpoint one thing but if it were down to that, besides your car, what part are
you most proud of. you may need to think about it overnight!!
to me i would say my genuine hazet tool kit.............even though it has only 2 original tools. i guess i was lucky at the time..........it will
stay with my car forever........as i have said previously it is the untouchable and will never be SOLD only inherited by a lucky museum.........what
is your untouchable???????????

i think my 1600 tp, it was the most expensive part of my bug, and the first part i dresed up. if i do sell the bug i have, the motor will either go in
the next or become a project of it's own

Motometer Rally Dash
I found a non genuine motometer oval dash panel with a rough as guts motometer clock at the Nationals when it was at Parklea. I think it cost me all I
had ($32 and a mars bar).
Then at the Flat Four shoot out I found a real motometer dash panel with everything except the clock.
I had the panel rechromed and the gauges restored and it's beautiful.
I couldn't resist and I've put it back in my car. That means I don't have a tacho, only a shift light but I couldn't let such a rare accessory sit
in a box.

its not a part, but i did buy it for my car...
my red devil dominatrix 8-ball sticker. shes red, shes sexy and if the car ever goes, she wont be going with it.
in the beginning, the universe was created.
this made alot of people very angry and is widely regarded as a bad move.

The part that I'd like to keep would be the throttle linkage that I made for the Delortos. Aluminium, Stainless and rollerbearings all handmade with
a hacksaw, file, drill and taps. 15 hours labor.

I have two things.I brought them for my first car(pre VW) The first was an aroooogarr horn and the second was a SAAS sports steering wheel.I have kept
them and fitted them to four cars so far.(two of them Bugs) I recon I'll keep them forever. Gary

my favourite---every single berg bit i've bought--from " the legend" t-shirt , which i have replaced 3 times as each one wore out over 8 years to
the gland nut that i rarely see. especially the race shifter its so yummy, the springless clutch plate is so cool as it bites into operation each
change and the breather box has been on several motors since the demise of my 2180 (non berg) i will never part with my all berg 1776 which arrives
next week, hell i'm gonna ask the missus if she is up for a threesome as soon as it arrives in the spare bed room!!! i must say after owning a 15
second swing axle beetle on early drums, the arrival of disc brakes was rather nice, i could go on and on beetles are my favorite, ive got 4 because i
couldn't bare to sell any of them........... hang on i dont think i have ever sold any vw part
