Hi Petri
Just picked up some today for the kombi actually!
It is supposed to be able to withstand the higher temps of aircooled engines without losing its ability to lubricate at such high temps. Says made for
aircooled engines on the container inc all VW, Porsche 356, some aircooled bikes and all hot running engines.
It's rated 20W40 API SJ/CF/CF-4. Not sure what the CF-4 means - I've never seen that on oil before.
There is also an interesting article in the current VWMA about it.
Cheers!
Toby

20w 40w that seams really thin for a volkswagen
You only need two tools
Wd40 if it don't move and it should
Duct tape if it move's and it shouldn't

Hey Toby, I read the same article and that is why I wanted to know if somebody had used it already. I will be very interested in what you think about
the oil, I may also give it a go. What do you use currently? Also, was ACE30 expensive?

Are they not a sponsor of this forum?
A cynical person might suggest good reviews only will appear here.
I am curious as to how good it is also.

I was using castrol GTX2 previously. It would not be appropriate to mention the price here but I thought it was fair for what it claims to do. I have
only had the van for a month or so and don't know how to rate the performance of this oil. I'll take off my diplomatic hat now.
I would also like to hear feedback from others about this product!
Regards,
Toby
