Porsche 930 CV joint install...which way do they go?
Can anyone tell me if the notched side of the cv joint goes to the outside or inside (shown to the left hand side in the pic attached)? Any help is
appreciated.

Try fitting it to the output drive shafts, is it stepped down at all.
If not it shouldnt matter...

I had the same problem with my kombi cv's. I found various VW manuals which showed conflicting photos and diagrams. So I never actually figured it
out. The inner is supposed to go a certain way though
