Oil Temp Monitoring for Type3?

Hey all,

Does anyone use an aftermarket oil temp gauge and sensor on the engine?

IE like a berg dipstick temp sensor?

Is it an easy job to setup?

Who is running what setup?

Cheers

Im running a VDO aftermarket gauge. Sender is tapped into the front of the sump. Havnt had any problems and it seems very accurate. (temp goes up a few degrees if going up a hill etc)

Although sometimes i wish i never new how hot it was running! hahahaha

Where do you get the sensors? and does anybody know the part number? Just easier at the parts shop if I can tell them exactly what I want.
