i have an adjustable beam in my bay how do i
go lower. I want to get dropped spindles later but for now want to go a little lower while it's off the road
how is it done is it just a case of jacking the car up undoing the adjusters and lowering the jack to the desired height and tightening up the
adjusters??
where do i jack it from.
there has to be a safe way to do it i don't want to get crushed if the jack slips
i have never played with the adjusters,
don't be concerned with the wheel alignment as it will not go on the road for a while
cheers wacked1

you have to put the front end up on car stands
take off one front wheel
mark the adjusters on the tooth it is on so you know how far you move it (one tooth is 25mm i think)
undo the top and bottom lock nuts be carefull they are loaded up (you might need to pry the plate off with a screw driver) and the wheels will drop so
be carefull
then put your jack under the ball screw (the side with the wheel off) and jack it up set the bottom adjuster first as its easier to get to
then you have to load the beam up again to do this you jack up the ball screw ,be carefull not to lift the bus up then lock in the plate in the slots
at the desired height probably only need to go one tooth put the wheel back on and get a sore ass
hope that helped or made sense its easier to actually do it than type it
thanks darren
gravity wont get you high
