J & S Website?

I have been told my new buggy is a J & S, and hear this thrown around a bit. Is there a J & S site, to have a squiz at? Or, is there another buggy site somewhere that has details of models, etc? Pics?

J & S is the company, yes? Did these buggies come as certain models (eg J & S model X), or what?

Can we date these buggies?

No website that I know of. J&S is the name of the company that used to make these buggies. As far as I know there were no official models, but there are some differences between J&S's depending on when they were built.
Some have a "high-nose" bonnet like yours and a few have a "low-nose" bonnet. There are some different dash setups and minor changes in the "back" section where you could sit if you were allowed. Apart from that they are all pretty much the same.
I think they were made in the early seventies....like most buggies :o

sorry about the quality of these pics, they are all scanes.

These are all the models J&S made.
There is a web site but its not buggy related, they build truck bodies now.

first is the early J&S roadster. the same mould was used latter on the Taipan bodies

That J&S Tourer looks like a Kalita buggy with different headlights.

yeah very similar, think they may have pinched the Kalita mould, but the J&S was a 4 seater so i am unsure.

Manx_xtc, where did you get the pic of the Yellow SWB J&S from ? I saw video of that buggy a few years ago. Any idea where it is now ?

Anyone want to hazard a guess on mine? I think it resembles the roadster....
