Push Rod Tube
Hi guys, I've got a crack in a push rod tube (1976 Kombi with 2L twin carbs) that's pissing a bit of oil. Obviously this "total-loss lubrication
system" isn't that bad but one day it could get worse so I'd like to fix it.
Can anyone provide me with a bit of guidance on this?
Anyone recommend that I weld/solder the crack up?
Anyone recommend that I attempt to put a sleeve around the tube and clamp it in place?
How much would a new/old one be?
What things should I look out for when I take the head off?
Do I HAVE to drop the donk to take the head off? I know this may seem like a silly question but I don't have a trolly jack and would rather not have
to take the motor out without one.
Any other pointers or problems I should look out for?

no need to any of that just take off the rocker cover and you will see a long spring holding the pushrod tubes in place remove it then remove the
offending tube and replace it easy fix no need to remove engine or heads ..while you are in there i would do all the seals on both sides as it wont
take long and its good insurance..
