WCM is the only way to go.

yeah i have wcm rubbers and they are fine. not quite as good as the factory ones but not bad either.
Wolfsburg west apparently make good rubbers too.
however if u do a search at RAMVA, there are a couple of negative comments about WCM and WW |

The WCM stuff can be very expensive.
Go to Import Advantage at Stafford, they have a good range of rubbers. Just try to find someone useful to speak to, some of their sales staff are just
plain rude, but others are excellent.

i must say that while WCM rubbers are excellent i also have one that i purchased which has been on the car for 4 years and has cracked! and my bloody
car only sees the sun on race days which is not very often!
its actually the one on the bonnet handle and is a clear one, but apart from that the reat are perfect :thumb

I have mostly WCM in my Kombi, most of it's OK after 12 months. The only problem has been the plastic under the door handles which have
cracked.
Don't forget to also try Mick's and Hardings, they sell WCM as well as Import Ad.

I have used mostly WCM stuff on my beetle and have been pleased with their fit and durability thus far.
Harding European stocks a lot of WCM stuff - http://www.hardingeuropean.com but
I would say Mick Motors would also be able to get stuff in - it would be worth a call I guess!

There's a lot of people on the Samba forums complaining about WCM. I think when I go for new rubbers I will go with Wolfsburg West, do they have
an Aussie distributor?
Ooh, suits you sir!

I always wipe on some Armourall on all seals and rubber parts on my cars regularly. Keeps them looking good and stops them from drying out and
cracking. The main thing is to get ones that fit perfectly I feel...
Try to keep it off the paintwork though as its trouble when it comes to re spraying...
