line locker?

you've got 100rwhp and you think you need a line locker?

I'll make it simple so you understand.
1. hold throttle to floor with right foot
2. place stick in 1st gear
3. take left foot of clutch FAST
4. keep throttle on floor until tyres smoking... LOTS!

See, it's not that hard.

p.s. don't forget to have someone hold a video camera. :smirk:

not much happening really........34000 km's up.

just finished moving oil cooler to front bumper via copper lines, works a treat...and now holds 10L of oil which makes for a fair investment of castrol edge each oil change:rolleyes:..... so kafer bars can now be fitted up too.

will get the line lock plumbed up, 36mm vents back in and rpm limit up to 7000rpm ready for race season.....want to knock off that 100HP mark and run hard into the 15's and sub 10's

thanx Matt........oil temps down to thermostat opening temp (85 'c), as soon as it opens the temperature stops rising. still heats almost as quickly as before and difference in heat between return and sending copper pipes is very noticable, so that little cooler is working very effectively.

lifted the number plate up a bit higher to expose more of the cooler, but don't think it needs it at all, maybe summer, just maybe......i might do some more holes so the number plate can be mounted fair accross the cooler just for the hell of it, looking like the only thing we'll be able to have adjustable here NSW anyways...........

having set up for it over 6 months ago, finally found the time to strap up the kafer bars.......

the oil cooler looks like a sweet addition. I think i will cut the front apron/valance on my super, like the us spec version (or like joel's super, or dave carters super..) and fit one behind.

(if you have the info of his cooler/pump etc on hand that would be nice) if not ill have a look for myself later on!

3/4 inch copper...26mm oil pump.

definately run an external oil thermostat tho so the car gets warm quick.....and worth getting oil pressure relief pump cover as my sisters car did not have one and when cold blew the lines of several times, despite them being clamped on barbed fittings

prime the lines with a "plunger" oil pump like used in 20L drums. i just disconect the lines at the rear of the car and pump away till it returns..........hook the return up and keep going till the oil level shows on the dipstick
