wacked1 V8 bus radiator position plus update
I'm putting mine in the roof section in the rear of my bus. i had a sheet pressed up with vents to direct air into the radiator, cool air from the
top of the bus as opposed to putting the radiator under the bus which draws in hot road air or having it hanging off the front of the bus which makes
it look ugly and gives it away as being a converted bus from the outside all you will see it a panel welded in the roof with scoops pressed in it no
too noticeable unless you look at the roof. it will be boxed in on the inside of the bus with the piping going through the air vents on the inside of
the bus which aids in cooling the pipes as well. also welding in a early bay petrol cap door to fill the rad from the top
just some info on my bus it was a 4.4L v8 with 2L manual,
just changed the trans to Porsche 915
here is the panel thats getting welded in next week
the radiator is an alloy one from a 2004 v8 holden commodore "Aussie car"
and possibly the motor going in it
rammed 350 chev
cheers

there was no welding required for the trans, very simple install. the radiator is getting done by a friend as well as all the rust etc.

What water pump are you going to use to be able to pump liquid up that high?
