what do u mean by bearc claw latchets?
and would suicide doors be less unsafe at high speeds?/less aerodynamic due to their shape?

I just thought of an even more tripped out plan for the doors.
if u want to have the backseats in..leave the front doors in the normal way...and convert the back half on the cabin into a suicide door.
making it open in the style of the new RX8.
Might be an idea

not very aerodynamic?
You wouldn't be opening the doors often while you are driving would you?

Would anything need to be engineered to create a suicide
door set up. Love the idea, just dont want complications

So, how would you keep the new back suicide doors and the front doors together properly. They'd rattle like nothing else without a rigid chassis
member to anchor them to.
How about a gullwing bug? that would be something else!
