54 Oval window winder question
the first thing I am stuck on with the new car, the driverside window winder gear has exited its worn out casing, are the winders the same up until
60's models - or am I looking at a big problem?

thanks Dave, I had a feeling that was the case, may end up as mix & match & cut & weld

Kim,
I just went throught all that with mine, they are completely different.
Mine had a couple of stripped teeth, so I cranked out the welder and welded on some new ones, then filed them to the right shape, works great now.
Looking at yours, you have a big job ahead.

Aaargh no more cars , 54 was obtained on premise of not having all the Humber stuff , & that I now did not need spares cars any more because all
parts freely available, I will have to stand by that agreement for a while yet.:jesus
