Rails for Curtains, what and where?
Ready to fut curtain rails but not sure of best way, got any photos of what I need?

I have those C shaped aluminium dealies running around my van. I lost the little plastic runner bits a while back when i was putting new curtains on.
I promptly lost them again. I know there's a camper place that stocks them. I even went to their site. Just need to find it again. If you can get the
runners and inserts, it's a nice way of having curtains too as they slide freely.
If at first you don't succeed. Build, build again.

Any curtain shop or sewing shop sells those little plastic runners. Lincraft and Spotlight both have a selection of little plastic runners for just
about any type of rail.

I tried more stores than I can remember in 3 states. I even took along a sample bit to show them. No-one had seen them before. They only had the big
ones (fit ~1cm runner IIRC). It drove me mad trying to find them.
I found the URL of a camper place in ferntree Gully that has comaptible ones. Not the same, but I like the new design a lot better. I have no idea
what their prices are like though. They even have the right replacement skylight for my van!

Just thought I'd add this. Nothing wrong with using the springy curtain cords. A lot of people use them. GThey are standard for caravans, and a lot
of houses too.
The tracks and runners are harder to fit. a lot more hole drilling. But you can have a nice smooth sliding curtain with them. A good halfway point
would be using cords except for the windscreen. Use runners there. That way you can easily slide the curtains out of the way for driving, and slide
them in for camping. They park near the top seatbelt loop on my van. Just behind it.

Well, if you used that combination I guess it works just fine then.
I've got runners all the way round. The only issue I have with them is when I'm driving with all the windows open. They tend to work their way
toward the back of the van, after they have come loose from the spring cord along the bottom of the windows.
That's right! No matter what, put spring cord along the bottom of your windows, except the windscreen. You'll need it to tuck the curtain into.
Otherwise you'll have nice big gaps down below.
