Leakdown results

Wondering what results you guys that have performed leak down tests on vw engines that you thought were good, ended up getting. Basically, my set of new, probably run in, 94mm T1 gets 20% (coming past the rings as heard from the oil filler) tested with a warm engine. I know what the ideal result would be, but what do you typically get for leakdown on a good condition VW engine in all its loose tolerance, air cooled glory. Any VW mechanics out there?

I know that you should be aiming for around the 5% mark, so 20% sounds excessive. Are you certain of this figure? and if yes are you certain that your ring gap and placment are correct? perhaps you could run a light hone over the bore and try some gapless rings. I'm getting some 94 next week (used) so I'm keen to hear your progress.
