What would be the best choice?
If I want to build a 2110cc engine to go into a ghia, would it be better to build up a beetle engine or start with a kombi case and get an upright
conversion kit for it?
Have any of you done this before?

Was the type 4 engine heavier than the beetle engine? Like did you need to change the torsion spring settings to adjust the ride height or put
stiffer shockies in or anything?

The type 4 is a bit heavier but I just put coilover shocks on and all was good.

That's what I was thinking of. More power as we will be putting on dual carbies and air conditioning as well. I didn't want the air con to take
all the power away so wanted a better engine.
So is it best to have the coil over shocks or just adjust the torsion bars?

i did nether mate just put a good set of shocks on it rather than play with it. im interested in how you put the aircon in cause i wouldnt mind some
ether. go the t4 motor as its a little stonger in the case than the t1 and they come with duals carbs stock.
