What happened to that dyno sheet thread?

Hi All,

I recall a dyno sheet thread posted on the forum that a lot of people had shown off their dyno runs. There was a pobjoy engine that was running 120 at the wheels from memory...

The reason I ask is i've finally ran my car on a chassis dyno. It made 132.9hp and 476.3ft-lh at the wheels in 3rd. 1.48 3rd gear, 3.875 diff and 17" 215x40 tyres.

Its reasonable but the car started running like crap after I tipped on half a bottle of that 104 octane booster crap. I should have stayed with straight BP ultimate 98 octane....

Running a little close to lean. It was 14.7 at 3000, and needed to be closer to 13.5. And on boost its running about 12.8, and needed to be closer to 12:1. I've made a fuel map change, but need to run all that crap octane booster out of the tank before I do another run.

I'll have the new header and manifold mods and oiling systems ready for the 2332 in 2 weeks ( after I get back from Darwin again ), so i'll just put in the 2332 instead.

Also let us know when you get on to the blacktop dyno,
that always separates the men from the boys.
I find that it takes away all the differences and excuses that seem to arise.
It always comes down to a MPH.
Let us know what the car weighs...got your mendeola yet?

There is no black top in cairns unfortunatly, so we just use the dyno or a gtech. Still getting used to the gtech though... Did another dyno run today at the dyno comp. I've posted the sheet in the racing dyno sheet thread.
