CAMS Licence

How would I go about getting a CAMS licence. I'm 17 on March 14th, and I have two Vdubs which I am interested in racing more than once. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks

Enjoy! You'll be doing your licences at Sandown - an historic track. You actually need the skills before you can do the test, so join the club and ask them for instruction. It takes a while these days (and costs a bit,) not like when I was young - but it's worth it and any further licences become easier and easier...

If I remember correctly u don't have to do any tests to get ur cams 2S. just have to be a memeber of a cams affiliated club and send away ur form and money. Zac don't bother about a 2NS its not worth it get a 2S straight away.

You dont need one for level 2. There's a declaration on the back of the form. Thats all. If you answer yes to any of the questions then they will ask you to get a medical though.

sorry if that mes came across all wrong. Its lots of fun. Just hope ur going to race ur VW too, the more VW's the better!!!!! Motokhana's are fun , everybody is friendly, I was really scared my first one, but got out there, mucked it up a few times, Everybody just has a few laughs and then they give u tips on how to do it better. Love any form of motor sport and the more people doing it, Especially with VW's the better!!!!
