Taillight wiring?

Anyone out there have any clues on how to wire indicators into oval taillights. My cars a 60, but i have some 57 oval tailights I'd like to run. but I don't want to run extra indicators.....I've seen it done B4, But I'd like to know how to do it? Do I fit extra globes into the housing? Or is there anyway to route the indicator signal to the stop lamp globe?

Hmmm?

Any ideas?

Hi Humpty

60s Holdens did it using one bulb somehow, maybe check out some Holden wiring diagrams.

Hi Simon,

the american bugs with oval tails had this, and they had a different signal indicator stalk/switch which had 5 wires attached to them. I don't think the cops would like seeing these on your car... plus a lot of people will get confused! best to get extra indicators!

Hi Simon

No worries.

STI Bit slow at the moment, lots of OT which is hard to knock back. Bought a G50 the other day, not having that was holding me up in some areas, I needed it to work out where its going to sit in the pan and CV angles etc.

the holdens used a globe with two elements in the brake lights, the search you want is on the park lights/indicator setup
