If it's a type 1 ..... yes

But, this may help. I was down at Mick Motors last week and Mick was showing me a new collapsiible tube. It can be inserted by only removing the push rod. This has been made from two normal type tubes, with one socketing into the other, has two 'O' rings, held in place with a circlip. Still has the standard concertina ends. Best idea I've seen for years.

yes - no - ish

You "CAN" use screw in replace ment tubes.

DO NOT USE THE SPRING LOADED TUBES. THEY ARE CRAP.

They are about $25 each but yes it saves pulling the motor and taking the head off.

Just make sure everything is clean clean clean

most VW shops.

I puleed a motor once and some goose had used 8 of the screw in types :jesus

VVDS sells them but depends on what they can get their hands on - some times screw - in some times spring in

maybe check Mick as well. Volkspower??
