smooth sailing
well Ive been living in Narrabeeen (north of sydney) for the last month and all has been going well with the conversion, finally got around to
replacing the lost shroud with a new one, replaced the damaged temp guage wire and put in some new sparkies (dont know when they were last changed)
hit the road on saturday and have been purring beautifully, 100kph and with the new shroud no more then 100deg engine temp. over 3500km so far and
couldnt have asked for mush more.

road was awesome fun, had a BA xr6 behind me all the way to nimbin, was all good, 60kph round 45kph corners and 80 around 65 corners, lots o fun, lov
the un-speed limited stretches. problem is the guy at stokers didnt seem to hink the problem was what i thought it was. any ideas what would make
the bus shudder violently in reverse? for more info check my post in tech talk.

damnit, starter has given way. noticed bad noises, pulled it out, found that the front of the teath has been worn down (maybe the gear hasnt been
shooting out far enough?). put it back together hoping that it would hold up 'til next week and of course 2 hrs later it was all over, must have
ripped the edge of the teath thsat was contacting clean off because all of a sudden i have a free-spinning starter :cry
