When I lived on the Gold Coast, I went looking at this little antique store for something to do while waiting for a friend. I just happen to fin an
old leather document holder which looked very loved. I opened it and found a few old cuttings from a German Newspaper. There were a few photos and
they showed a street in Germany lined each side with split screen single cabs, duel cabs & Kombis. From what I could gather the article was about
the VW as a working car and how popular it was.
Needless to say I was pissed to see that the folder was worth way too much and my concience is too loud to have pocketed them. I still think about
them every now and then. |

Hi
I recently printed an old add for Maiko disc brakes in our club mag, we received many emails and phone calls wanting to know where they could buy
them. You would think the price quoted of $155 + fitting would have been a give away.
When my son was born in 1991 I bought all the newspapers printed on that day, they interesting reading even now.
