69 beetle project got the body back wow more pics. updated 30/9

I have finally got around to posting some pics of my car it has had ea82t conversion, 19 inch wheels, four wheel discs awaiting bigger front brakes. Narrowing beam and lowering some more. drop spindles just weren't low enough Aeros gaurds are being fitted, removed the old porche style kit. 65 bonnet and front valance being fitted. Was on the road driving a little without engineers cert. still wasnt what i wanted so decided to srtip paint for respray again. and fix up the handling and appearance of the car.

Nice work. Keep the scoops. Maybe think about a inch wide leading edge flush with the body to hide the round inlet part. Sort of like this.

Been a while since i have posted some pics of what i have been up to on the car still trying so hard to get to valla. I have had the whole front end customised to have an old style bonnet and lower scoop fitted and holes for the mesh for the radiator. also new fire wall with moulded in ducting for the inter cooler this has alll been folded and made from metal getting there slowly. Stripping the whole interior to paint out body colour. Any ways heres some pics.

Wow, it's going to look (and go!) pretty awesome! Definitely can't wait to see the finished product. :thumb

I think the side scoop bits will look fine if the car is silver. If it were a colour-colour, then they'd stand out more and be a feature but they'll sort of blend in with the silverness.

Post more progress pics soon! :P

hi,
thats quite a nice intake setup on your front valance u got there
do u get enough air flow to ur rad at all speeds?
i have a 70 rotary beetle and have been trying to work out if it could flow well aswell as look neat till i saw ur car:thumb
mine looks shitfull iti had that mesh in it till one day i got the shits with low air flow and over heating and kicked it all in lol
mine had a high flow 3 core rad and a 15" craig fan i think it was
engine was tuned more for track though and always had heat problems round town
hows the perfomance of the ea82T?
ive been thinkinng about converting
sorry for all the questions
thanks

Mate great work thus far - keep it up. I know how hard it is to try and get something finished on a deadline (valla) - I tried for last valla but decided it wasn't worth rushing and regretting it later....just make sure you don't have to re-do things (again!). Best of luck, look forward to seeing more!

Looks great, The inlets look cool but I think they would've looked better down the bottom and a bit shorter. Love the colour.
