76 microbus


ok guys i'm currently in the proces of welding and painting up my 76 mirco bus and in the future im gonna needsto get some chrome strips for her. but all the ones i have seen have black with a chrome line and i was wondering if ya can get plain chrome ones like on a beetle ect. or am i gonna have to improvise, just wonderin as its somethin im ganna have to deal with in the future

My 72 Microbus has chrome only, think the 76 was different style though, so you should be able to get it....but maybe have to get it o/s and ship it in.nn[ Edited on 28-8-2005 by crewcabconnection ]

yeah i think its 73/74 or there abouts up has the skinny ones at door handle level

if there not easily accesable and cheap and get a set of something like a kingswood down the at door sills (long and straight ) and trim them up. thats if can get clips to fit em , anyway i think im gettin ahead of myslef still need to weld, prep,paint
