Classic look? Racer look? Sleeper? Rat?

You might have to be more specific..

if its that good "original thick paint so you can polish it up and it stays shiny for a month"sort of good paint then all you need is make sure the motor is serviced regulary so that doesnt piss you off then lower it with some 17" rims and your there , to start with anyway the the world is your oyster as above get some ultra vw mags and pic a stlye and only your walletwll hold you back

hey RB

try looking under the rear seat for the chassis number.....if it starts with 118 then it's a 68

looks earlier though with the bumpers and guards and also the brakes are wide five

to lower mine i'm using dropped spindles and avis adjusters on the front and turning the springplates on the rear a notch or two

cheers

Dude it's definitely at least a '67. Awesome! Go the street/retro racer look. Concentrate on the important stuff first (engine, brakes, suspension) then worry about cosmetics (ie: don't do what I did :blush). I like the ratty paint already.

A 119 number would make it a 69 model and it definately aint that!

I agree, far too many things saying pre '68: bumpers, running board trim, bonnet, headlights/fenders, brakes, wipers etc.
