Speedway and carting Expo (Rosehill Racecourse 1/10/05)
Heard about this from a mate I study with so myself and a rally racing friend of mine went for a few hours on saturday with our kids to give the women
a rest and ourselves a petrol overdose.
Lots of interesting machinery including 3 of Gary Rush's old race cars and a bunch of nostalic speedway cars as well. In amongst them was this car.
The Selby Ipec Speedcar from Liverpool speedway days...
Serious car this. No wings and 200bhp. Had a good look at it. Mechanical fuel Inj. and a 2.5l dry sumped autocraft motor. I would have though 200bhp
would be a bit conservative. Check out the exhaust system and the drysump tank...oldschool cool :thumb

Found some other bits and pieces too
these are the standard stud pattern as used on sprint cars. For a minute I thought I was on to a winner, till I found out that big five in speedway is
230mm PCD instead of 205mm PCD like VW/early Porsche.
