Newcastles inaugural National Auto Supershow

Newcastles inaugural National Auto Supershow
On October 15 , 16 ,an event planned to take its ingredients from every type of auto activety, pour them into the Newcastle Showground and Entertainment Centre complex and stir it well for two full on days.

Actually, the NAS has its curtain raiser at club Phoenix on Friday, October 14 when v8 Supercar racer Glenn Seton hosts opening night with the halp of fellow v8 Supercar star Jason Bright and ford rally driver Michael Guest.

From there on in it is high octane all the way with the ASMF show,n,shine state titlies, a dynamometer shootout on the G-Force Engineering dyno, World Skills Australia panel beating and spray painting demonstrations, displays by car and mototcycle clubs and a collection of rare American cars.

Active motorsports has not been forgotten with westlakes auto club running a saturday motorkhana and a sunday round of the state short-course rally titles and khanacross event and, on saturday night, spectacular freestyle motocross.

Seton, Guest and Bright will be making appearces during the weekend and Ford Performance Racing and Team Perkins Racing will have their mobile V8 Supercar workshop on display.

Not enough?? Then add in the Miss Grid Girl competion, the High Octane Hall, a Saturday after noon concert with Mental As Anything followed by a Saturday night concert, performed by the Coyote Girls and huge saturday night fire works display.
For all times contact the NAS organisers:thumb
