From memory the Bug shocks are shorter, so they wouldnt have the travel distance on the Kombi. and vise versa i suspose

Splitty Kombi shocks will change with king and link beetle shocks, they are the same,
The later bay rears are way too long for a Beetle.

G'day Mitchell,

Bay shocks are longer (rear by quite a bit), Splitty shocks are same length as early Beetle but much fatter, bj frontend Beetles have pin type tops on the front shocks and later ones had a long bolt tube at the bottom eye on the rear shocks.

Hope this compensates a little for the strong "no".
