How much tension do I need for a clutch pressure plate?
To tension a clutch pressure plate is it 18ft/lb??

the easiest way is to use a torque wench to do it as it will give an accurate reading any other way is guessimation

Yep using a torque wrench or whatever that thing is that you set the pounds setting to and then tension it. Was just wondering if we have to set it to
18 pounds?

yes thats right id do it all to 10 pound first then check that the clutch alignment tool moves freely and if it does then to 18 making sure that you
do the bolts in a diagonal pattern ie opposites

You do up clutches and other things, even wheel nuts/studs ... a bit at a time... and You do the opposite ones all the time... or closest You can
get....
NEVER just go round doing the bolts up in SEQUENCE.....
