Quick shift for bay bus?
I want to fit a close ratio shifter to the Helbus.
I have looked on the Flat 4 website and they don't list a type 2 elimimator shifter.
Comments appreciated on these or other brands. Scat, Empi?
The shifter must be suitable for a bus, and do not want a shifter with a big T handle.
I have rung some places and get varying answers, so I thought I would get some feedback from owners who have had them fitted.

Get a SCAT one from Custom Offroad....works well for me!! You could always unscrew the "T" handle and install something else?

Not so keen on the extra handle for rev lockout.

there's always the $10 quick shift kit, that retains your original shifter. you don't need to cut the floor mat either.

Hmmm I do like the look of the empi one, and it would be good to have all new parts.
Lobus, can you get a closer shot of how much of the mat you had to cut? Or anyone?
Our mat has a couple of cracks just around the shifter anyway.

I have a Scat one and have found them to be the best on the market for the money. If you get a Empi one make sure you have a look at the quality of
it. In particular the wire that goes to the reverse lock out from the trigger. I have had a few brake and leave people without reverse, that is one
big advantage on the Scat it has a solid shaft running to the lock out plate.
