Car starting probblems

A couple of days ago my car started fine.
I drove it home and stalled it in the driveway.
Tried to start it again but it wouldn't start, not even kick over for that fact.
I have needed to roll start it since then, except for a few occasions.
Sometimes when i try to start the car the motor rols over a few times then there is nothing, then i try it again and it kicks over.
Since i stalled it on thursday it has also been running rough.

any thoughts or ideas on what is wrong would be greatly appreciated.

btw: 1600tp with twin kadrons.

Lee.

Battery holding charge?
Alternator working?
Dirty connections on ignition switch or start motor?
