it will fit in that case so long as you cut the arse off. but your next problem is you will have trouble getting it engineered as 3L is well over the
max limit ie the limit being 2.6-2.8L

i can tell you after doing a 2L t4 conversion you need to upgrade you brakes and gearbox to cope with the the extra power. the gear box isnt required
for an engineers but is a good idea

$1k is a very good price too if its complete. Just the fan/alternator would cost about $500 alone

Hi, If you don't want the porsche engine i will buy it and put in my bus, $1000 is pretty damn cheap for a 911 motor if it runs its a bargain, if it
don't then i myself would still buy it, wanted to rebuild flat 6 for a long time. I know they are expensive to rebuild but that is ok, Cheers Damo

Parts to rebuild them are very expensive, and they are not easy engines to build. That said, 1000 is cheap if it is a going concern. A few other
things to consider is that by the time you set all the dry sump oiling gear up, putting a radiator in wouldnt have been much harder, then WRX engines
etc are an option.

There's a '56 bug on the german look forum thats got a 3lt 911sc porsche engine in it. I believe its mid mounted so that doesn't cost much!
