cost of new exhaust?

have a set of extractors ( i think) on the type 3 at athe moment, with a big muffler and just a short pipe off the end, all looks pretty rough and i was told when i bought the car that there was a leak in the muffler (havent noticed it myself), just wondering what i would be looking at for a muffler with the right bits welded on? i also like the look of the empi monza style setup with the 4 pipes, is one of these setups worthwhile performance wise and what are they worth?
thanks
Ryan

From what I have heard the four tip empi monzas are shit. They do nothing for performance and they don't last very long. If your header pipes are OK, then you should be able to get a new muffler for ~$200.
